Hey, Cari here! I am a photographer and writer working out of the greater Boston area.

 

Ever since I was a young kid playing with disposable film cameras at parks and zoos, I have always had a passion for photographing the ordinary and extraordinary happenings around me. As the child of a garden junkie, the obvious subjects of my relentless photography were the flowers in my front yard. As the years went by, I realized the beauty I saw in those flowers reflected the beauty I saw in people. Everything and everyone, is so uniquely wonderful, and I am in love with capturing that, both with photography and writing.

I drink an unhealthy amount of coffee, especially if it's from a local coffee shop or bookstore café. I can confidently say that most of the writing pieces you will find in my portfolio were written in one of these places, with a cappuccino close by.

 

My music taste is all over the place. I grew up listening to pop-punk, so I will always have a soft spot for rock, punk, or metal bands.
